Independent reading

Thank you to all who responded to the previous blog. We will read Speaker for the Dead as a group. Each of you found another book you would be interested in reading. That book wil be your independent reading book for the month. Chaim- Hitchhiker's Guide, David- Ender's Shadow, Daniel- Ender's Shadow. Ilya and Yaakov- you have until this evening to post a title- otherwise, I will assign you a book to read.

Be prepared to write an in-class essay on March 10, 2010.

Happy reading!

  1. Nice but how do you expect us to keep up with both readings? I would rather do one book as a class than do two of them. We should take a vote unless its not going to be hard!

  2. We will read independently. Yaakov is reading the same book as Chaim. Ilya will read Dan Brown. Bring your books to class next week (2/22/10) so we can discuss independent reading.

    Anyone else care to blog about the difficulties in reading two books at the same time?

  3. deception point -Dan Brown
    A book about a cover up and well, a deception and a twist that is thrilling!

  4. Deception Point;
    It has all the key elements of a roller coaster ride thriller including a dirty fight for control of the White House and discovery by NASA which can change our perception of alien life and can change the results of the next Presidency.
